Spring is here, and we are calling for contributions to Bent Street 4.2 (November/December 2020).
The end-of-year edition is open themed. We are looking for creative expressions from 2020 in all genres.
Because we are launching at Feast on 25 November, we are moving into production a few weeks earlier.
Submissions open from 1 September, closing date, 15 October.
Bent Street publishes essays, short fiction, poetry, artwork, interviews, opinion pieces, tweets, blog posts, extracts from work-in-progress, that reflect the LGBTIQA+ community.
Bent Street is ‘a twisted tapestry of our time’, ‘the road less travelled’, and ‘a page for rainbow essayists, yarn spinners and queer theorists, a canvas for diverse doodlers and alternative artists, an ear for wrathful rants and interesting interviews, an eye for raw reflections and a mouth for personal opinions’.
